Biography

Joseph Lombardo, a member of the Republican Party, has served as the 31st Governor of Nevada since 2023. He assumed the statewide constitutional office after defeating incumbent Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak, marking a shift in the state's executive leadership. As governor, Lombardo oversees the executive branch of Nevada's government from the state capital, Carson City.
