Citizens Advisory Committee

The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) provides independent oversight of fuel tax indexing funds, ensuring that every dollar is spent appropriately on Clark County transportation infrastructure improvements.

Committee Purpose

• Review and monitor expenditures of all fuel tax indexing revenue
• Ensure funds are used exclusively for roads and transportation infrastructure
• Provide regular public reporting on fund usage and project progress
• Serve as a bridge between the community and transportation agencies

Oversight & Transparency

Annual independent audits are conducted to verify proper use of all fuel tax indexing funds. The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) publishes detailed information about all funded projects on their website. The CAC provides an additional layer of independent assessment to ensure complete accountability to Clark County residents.
